Care
and treatment of doors
Doors are supplied sanded to use, however
a light sand to corners and sharp edges with fine grit paper (180-200 grit) prior
to sealing is recommended.
"RED DOG" timber doors must be sealed
completely, (painted or varnished) at least two coats on all six faces before
hanging. Maintain at all times a completely finished weatherproof skin.
Doors
should not be exposed to direct heat, sunlight, damp winds etc…Should this
happen, discoloring, cracking, warping or shrinking may occur.
